Yesterday, I purchased from PCA Aust and installed LatinVFR's Southwest Florida Intl (Fort Myers).

In isolated places, the wheels of the aircraft sink into the pavement, illustrated below:

What causes this? Is there a remedy?

Five weeks down the track, does anyone know what is causing my problem of sinking wheels?

Ten weeks down the tracks without receiving any suggestions about my sinking wheels at Frt Myers, I will have another go.

At http://pcaviatorforu...ings/#entry5132 in discussing freeware offerings, I mentioned RealSky's freeware Wenzhou Longwan airport in China.

After its release, I downloaded and installed it. I will post some screenshots elsewhere in this Forum.

My current problem is that at one location on the runway, the wheels of the Aerosoft Twin Otter variously become partially submerged in the runway or wholly or partially disappear from attachment to the plane, as exampled by the following screenshots which are from a single landing:

What caused this and what is the remedy?

The airport is installed over FSX Default scenery. There is no mesh added to the Default scenery.

Gary,

It could be related to underlying mesh (test by changing the Terrain Mesh resolution slider to different values and see if there is any difference) or it could be something the developer themselves have to fix. They might not have the elevation setting for the runway quite right.
