Remember this being a topic over on Avsim's site in regard to problems with MSE 2.0 Ireland. Mostly about water masking issues but i had put a ticket in that quality was so poor for Belfast because it was half default textures and photographic. Being an island the water masking becomes a big issue for this product. Wonder if they will ever fix some of the issues.

Dean is the man to answer that for you but, in the interim, I notice in his post #22 this morning in the Photoreal sub-forum at Avsim at http://www.avsim.com...-2#entry3305986 , Chris Bell of Night Environment fame said that he had already raised this issue with the MSE2 people.

Also might be just worthwhile to wait for MSE 4x for Ireland, if it gets released, because been speculation that some of the water issues look improved with Florida.

water mask issues were also raised by me for the England scenery. It was that bad in some places I uninstalled the lot and reinstalled Horizon gen x again. after all it was exactly the same stuff.

BTW, I never got a reply...

Terry

Is the no reply you mention in post #4 above the same as you referred to in your post #1 in the Thread at http://pcaviatorforu...ines/#entry2336  or is it something else?

I am pretty sure the developer was made aware of this at the time. I don't recall it being fixed however. It was an issue along the same lines as most of the coastal water masking issues between less accurate default land placement, and more accurate photoscenery placement (with higher definition coastline data).
