Here's my pictorial guide to a nice 35-40 minute flight from Klamath Falls > Toketee > Oakridge state in Oregon.
Aircraft: Carenado Beech Baron 58
Clouds/Weather: REX Essentials Plus w/ Overdrive
Departing Klamath Falls
Heading Northwest over Upper Klamath Lake
Looking southwest. Plenty of variety in land type here
Rustler Peak out in the distance
Aspen Butte, and the Mountain Lakes Wildlife Area
Just past the Northern end of Upper Klamath Lake
Super-crisp ground textures as we head toward Crater Lake
A look back behind us to Pelican Butte and Mount McLoughlin
Crater Lake is very hard to miss!
Mount Scott on the Eastern side of Crater Lake
Line of tree clearing are evident below and behind the aircraft
Diamond Lake out at the 3 O'Clock position in the distance
Approaching Toketee (3S6) with a view looking West
Descending for a left turn to short final at Toketee
Boulder Creek Wilderness Area out in front
Final approach to Toketee State (not a lot there!)
Toketee Falls and small town of Clearwater below
Final approach to Oakridge State, which is on the ridge just behind the township
And landed at Oakridge (default FSX runway has wrong direction!)
All in all, a very nice flight with plenty to see. The approaches are not difficult and I had no problem getting the Baron in and out of each airport.
